As events, weddings, and other social events have revived, our director, Rahul Kumar, who is also the President of the Middle East Wedding Alliance (MEWA), has taken the initiative to bring back MEWA Networking Evenings, allowing the industry to reconnect in person and expand their networks.
We are proud to announce that the first MEWA Networking Evening Post Covid19, hosted at Sofitel the Obelisk at their Soleil Pool, was indeed a huge success.
The evening began with a welcome from MEWA Chairman Rahul Kumar, followed by a few words from the host property, represented by Ana Bistagne, the Director of Sales.
The evening was then open for the fraternity to network with one another and form new business relationships. The free-flowing evening included a sumptuous canapé selection prepared by the host property, along with some wine, allowing individuals to break the ice.
Towards the end of the evening, Sofitel the Obelisk organized a raffle draw with three lucky winners receiving massages, dinners, and overnight stays at the property.
Rahul Kumar, the director of Vivaah Celebrations, is known for bringing the community together and hosting such events.
