Vivaah Celebrations had the pleasure of having a candid discussion with Adi Golan and learning more about his opinions and insights into the music industry.
When did you step into the world of music? What inspired you to pursue a career in the music industry?
I began taking piano lessons when I was five years old and had my first performance when I was ten; I knew music would be my career from the beginning. As a teenager, I formed a small band that grew over time and eventually evolved into what we now call “Paris Select.”
Having performed at events around the world, what do you personally prefer – corporate events or private celebrations?
Private events, particularly weddings, because they provide opportunities to share emotions with family members. This is not something we experience at corporate events; which are also exciting but in a different way.
How do you keep evolving to keep your audiences engaged and interested in your performances?
During the performance, there is this “live” magic that captivates the audience and a special energy that makes them enjoy the show.
Otherwise, we have a community of followers and fans that we keep engaged by sharing various types of content with them, such as shows from around the world, travel experiences, behind-the-scenes, rehearsals, recordings, and anything else related to our activity.
You’ve recently focused your attention on growing your presence in the Middle East. What do you think about the response and opportunity here?
I remember our first show in Lebanon a few years ago; it was incredible, and it opened up many more opportunities for us throughout the region. The Middle East is a fantastic market, particularly Dubai, which is a hotspot for destination events, various types of events, private and corporate, and events of all origins.
What aspirations and goals have you set for Paris Select for the future?
We’ve been getting more and more requests to go on tour from fans all over the world. So far, “Paris Select” is only available at private or corporate events. One of our future plans is to change that by going on tour, performing at festivals and public shows, and reaching out to a diverse range of audiences. People are constantly telling us that they want to buy a ticket to a “Paris Select” show, so we’ve begun working on that, and something exciting is surely coming up!
